November in Yosemite

Autumn in Yosemite...doesn't get better than that! This piece depicts a view of El Capitan surrounded by the gorgeous colors of fall. The sky is pale blue, and El Capitan is detailed with thick palette knife strokes. The stream in the forgeound reflects the colors of the surrounding trees. The leaves are transitioning from ochre yellow, to auburn, to the deep green of the pine trees.
