Part of my 'California in Bloom' series, this piece is inspired by the recent superbloom we've experienced here in California. This is a landscape inspired by Antelope Valley in Southern California, where the hills are blooming with wildflowers and colored with shades of yellow, orange, and purple. The sky is a light blue on this spring day, with the hills in the distance textured with cobalt blue. In the foreground there are textured poppies and lupines.
